The VoIP Opportunity As A
Private Label VoIP Reseller

On rare occasions, we are fortunate enough to be part of something truly extraordinary; something where every element necessary for success converges at a single point in time. For private label VoIP resellers utilizing the Alliance Success System, that time is now.

Since the invention of the telephone, telephone companies have had a monopoly on providing telephone service. Consequently, costs remained high while customer satisfaction remained low. This has led to a situation that creates a great opportunity for you: "people love to hate their local telephone company."

A few years ago, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) decided to allow competition in an effort to lower retail pricing and improve the quality of service. This event triggered the development of a new class of carrier: Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC). However, not everyone could play in this arena as the cost to be a CLEC is huge. Many CLECs have failed because they were under capitalized. Another reason for their failure is that they offered the same old analog technology as the telephone company but at lower prices.

Over the past few years many audio and visual products have moved from analog to digital. Consider how music has moved from vinyl records and cassette tapes to CDs, movies have moved from video tape to DVD and even cellular phones have moved from analog to digital. As a result quality increased while prices decreased.

The very same thing has been taking place in landline telephone service. However, the telephone companies have been very slow to adopt digital technology because they have billions tied up in old legendary analog equipment. So, the FCC has opened up the field and allowed others to compete. Best of all, although it still takes a lot of money to build a digital system and provide service, it is far less then what the telephone companies invested to provide analog service. And because the FCC is not restricting who can offer digital service, there is more competition and prices are lower.

Yet, with over 700,000 rotary phones still being leased at about $30/month and you can buy an analog touch tone phone for the equivalent of one or two monthly lease payments on the old rotary phone, you have to wonder what the market demand for digital service actual is. Well, it turns out that this too is good news.

Federal Communications Commission chairman Michael Powell believes that VoIP will irreversibly alter the world of communications. VoIP, he has said, represents the "most significant paradigm shift in the entire history of modern communications since the invention of the telephone."

There are about 100 million households in America today. By the end of 2004, there were 1.3 million households (about 1.3%) that had already switched to digital or VoIP service. By the end of 2005, that number surged to 4.5 million (about 4.5%) - more than a 300% increase. Today there are well over 10 million households (about 10%) that have switched to digital or VoIP service and the industry experts have projected 44 million by the end of 2010. Furthermore, if you were to analyze the growth in cellular, which almost everyone uses today, you would notice two very important things. First, digital or VoIP telephone service is growing faster than cellular did in its early days and second, all of the industry expects forecasted low and had to keep increasing their forecasts. Therefore, there is a good chance that once again the experts are forecasting low and there could be many more than 44 million by the end of 2010.

As you can see, the market demand and opportunity is so vast that even the crumbs are huge! Through the Alliance VoIP Solution Success System, a private label VoIP reseller with only a small investment can offer Digital Voice telephone service nationwide and become quite wealthy even if they secure only a fraction of a single percent of those that will move to digital service. Companies like Time Warner, Comcast, Vonage and Sun Rocket have invested millions in educating the market to the many benefits of digital telephone. With a good marketing plan and effective marketing tools (as are included in the Alliance VoIP Solution Success System), a private label VoIP reseller can enjoy a very low cost of acquisition (marketing cost to secure a customer) and enjoy recurring revenue and profits every month from each customer!
